Career Center
Career Services provide employment assistance and opportunities to Mt. SAC student and alumni. To accomplish this, they partner directly with local employers and help them find qualified candidates. They also offer a variety of services to assist Mt. SAC students and alumni including but not limited to exploring careers, acquiring employment skills, gaining experience, and gaining employment.

Hygiene
Shower Access
In accordance with AB 1995, shower access is provided for current Mt. SAC students. Showers are located in the Gym, Building 3, M-F from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please bring your own towel and toiletries.
Feminine Hygiene Products
The Basic Needs Resources Center (9G), The Mountie Fresh Food Pantry (67A-103), Health Center (67B), and Health Center Satellite (9E), distribute free feminine hygiene products for students in need.

Wellness
Student Health Center, 9E or 67B
The Mt. SAC Health Center provides limited medical services, chiropractic services, and personal counseling for Mt. SAC Students. Please visit the website for more information. Please call or visit to make an appointment. Walk-in nurse visits available.

Behavior and Wellness Team
The Behavior & Wellness Team (B&WT) is a multidisciplinary campus team that guides the campus community in effectively assessing and addressing concerning and/or threatening behavior. The B&WT aims to assist students who may be experiencing an emotional problem or before their behavior reaches a potentially dangerous level. The team does not respond to emergency or crisis situations. For emergency that require an immediate response, call the Department of Police and Campus Safety at 909-274-4555 or 911.
Transportation
Bus Pass Program
All students who are taking Mt. SAC college credit classes and have paid their student fees are entitled to a free Class Pass from Foothill Transit. The cost for the bus pass is included in your college fees, so all you have to do is pick yours up at the bookstore today.
The Class Pass is a reusable card that gives students unlimited access to Foothill Transit buses, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Students who attend in the Fall can use their Class Pass during the Winter intersession, and students who attend in the Spring can use their Class Pass during the Summer intersession.

Pacific Clinics Hope Drop-In Center
Pacific Clinic's Hope Drop-In Center is a safe place for teens and young adults (ages 16-25) who are looking for support, healing and care. They provide immediate help and programs (such as free lunch, clothing, showers, laundry facilities, employment support, recreational area and computer center). They are open 7 days a week and transportation is available to and from the center.

During COVID-19, changes have occurred to the mobile shower locations in Los Angeles County. Currently there are 18 mobile shower locations in LA County. Below is the information for two sites closest to our Mt. SAC campus:
1. The Shower of Hope: 750 S. Santa Anita Ave. , South El Monte 91733. Showers every Tuesday from 10am to 4pm.
2. The Shower of Hope: 3089 E. Huntington Dr., Irwindale 91706. Showers every Tuesday from 8:30am to 1:30pm.

Sowing Seeds for Life
Sowing Seeds for Life (SSFL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in 2005 whose mission is to eliminate hunger. SSFL is a part of America’s Second Harvest whose mission is “feeding America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engaging our country in the fight to end hunger in our local communities."

Food and other products are distributed to people in need through charitable agencies or directly through programs; conduct hunger education and awareness campaigns and advocate for public policies that alleviate hunger; and energize the community to get involved and support hunger relief. America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) is your easy one-stop access to the state’s employment-related services. Explore the resources through this Web portal or visit a local center. They're located throughout the state to help employers find qualified workers and job seekers find good jobs. Employers can get help in posting job openings and recruiting candidates. Job seekers can get assistance in assessing skills, finding job opportunities and training, prepping a résumé, and much more.

Tri-City Wellness Center
The Tri-City Wellness Center is a hub of community activities that promote recovery, resiliency, and wellness for people confronting mental health issues. Staff located at this site, including peer advocates, family members, clinical staff, and others, provide a range of culturally competent, person- and family centered groups, workshops and socialization activities designed to promote increasing independence and wellness for people of all ages.

Laundry Love Project, Pomona
The Laundry Love Project in Pomona is a FREE Wash and Dry Program every 3rd Wednesday of the month, 6pm-8pm at Lucy's Laundry Mart. This is sponsored by St. Ambrose Claremont, St. John's La Verne, St. Mark's Upland, St. Paul's Pomona, Deanery 6 of the Episcopal Diocese of L.A, and Tri-City Mental Health Center.

House of Ruth, Inc.: Assisting Families Victimized by Domestic Violence
House of Ruth has been providing life-saving domestic violence services for residents of eastern Los Angeles and western San Bernardino counties. Participation in House of Ruth programming is open to all battered women, men, and their children.
